What is ISDN , Home highway have I got it ?

ISDN or (Integrated Services Digital Network) is a direct
digital connection to the B.T. network which can provide
the end user with dial up connection to the internet with
a speed of 64Kbs (normal analogue phone dial up is around
40/45Kbs) or 128kbs if both of the two channels an ISDN
line provides are used together.
It can be identified by the main connection box,see image below.

You cannot have broadband on and ISDN line
however we can arrange for B.T. to convert your ISDN line
back to a normal analogue line ( please not eyou will loose
one of the two lines and one of the two phone numbers).
Simply select "Yes ISDN conversion" at the question
"Is this line to be converted from ISDN?" during the
registration process. Please note B.T. will need to
visit your premises to carry out this conversion.
PLEASE ALLOW up to 14 working day for the
conversion to Broadband to complete.
